Jedi/Sith Ranks

I feel that the present ranks are abit much personaly, i was thinkin of havin the tradtional Jedi and Sith Ranks.
by doin this they will only have to choose two paths instead of four, which i find alot more less complex and easyer to understand.

I was thinking:
Jedi
Gen 1 - Youngling
Gen 2 - Padawan
Gen 3 - Knight
Gen 4 - Master

Sith
Gen 1 - Apprentice
Gen 2 - Sith
Gen 3 - Lord
Gen 4 - Emperor

Also by doing this it will allow alot more Clan Events like Jedi Vs Sith
plus for the people that prefer sith, they get a nice rank to suit them :DD.
Anyway, just an idea.

I like this idea. It fits better I guess than our actual ranks.
Just my opinion tho.

We would just need to find another name for Gen 4. Or Grandmaster change to Overlord or something else.

I love the concept of Jedi/Sith ranks, but then we should have atleast 2 paths on both jedi, and sith, with different tasks and assignements . So new members with no real loyalty feelings get bored withouth something to do.

thing is about it we can add the jedi/sith in new Ways to go.

Padawan(is allready in use)

so if you choose the jedi way forexample you start as a Jedi Knight so the 4 gens in jedi way would be


Jedi knight (gen 1 )
Jedi Sentinel(gen 2)
Jedi Guardian(gen 3)
Jedi Master (gen 4)

Sith would be

Sith Warrior (gen 1)
Sith Assasin (gen2)
Sith Inquisitor (gen 3)
Sith Lord (gen 4)


meaning that these whould be in addition to our current ranks, as Two new Ways to go.

Way of the Jedi & Way of the Sith.

how ever if we are to change the whole ranks to Jedi Sith team there would be hell of alot more ranks in them.
Im positive to the idea in general but, not everybody enjoyes the Jedi/Sith Consept.

Or... we could have no ranks at all!!!!!!????111one11!!

hm, i dont like the idea of adding it to current ranks, as there will be like 5-6 ways to go, and the idea was to make it simpler :p

the main idea is good.

i would prefere that too, BUT

the reason why we made the different rank ways is because of the indidual personality of the members.

problem in the past was how to rank up guys. we made rules like duels to win for the first ranks, then specified rank tasks for the higher ranks.

problem was that some guys didnt like the idea to win duels to get the first rankups.

so we had to create a system where you can get rankups with different kind of tasks, not only duel fighting.

if we make just jedi and sith, we have that problem again....

I dont think that has to be a problem att all.
Lets say we instate the Jedi/Sith system but with more then 1 path each. If, lets say the Jedi path has 2 paths. You would need to fight duels to rank in 1 path.
And complete a given task, to rank in the other one.
And lets say, that in the Sith path, you must complete 2 different kind of tasks, assignements, or whatever, to rank up.

I'm not yet saying we should change, or not. But this could possibly help make our clan more attractive to players who play the game, cause they love both the Star Wars saga, and the general idea of the system.

Why dont we just do a poll? Talkin bout what players like more is difficult cuz evry1 likes different things... a poll could show what most members prefer

there could be fighters way for each sith and jedi, and then sith as assasin, and jedi as diplomatic

if we are to change it we change the ranks as a whole. 4 ways, 2jedi,2 sith.

anyway we should just make a vote on it on the forums and give a date when the vote will close.
